Place of Operation
This flight operate from the city of Pokhara, a wonderfully relaxing place, the closest Nepal has to a resort. The magic of the mountains, meandering rivers and the beauty of the valley will give you an impression that you will not soon forget.
The Pokhara Valley – one of the most picturesque spots of Nepal, is enhanced by its lovely lakes Phewa, Begnas, and Rupa. Situated 200 kilometers west of Kathmandu, Pokhara is connected by air or by buss from Kathmandu and Bhairahawa – a border town near India. Situated at an altitude of 827 miters from sea-level, Pokhara offers magnificent views of Dhaulagiri (8,167m), Manaslu (8, 128m), Macpuchhre (6,997m), the five peaks of Annapurna and others. Pokhara’s numerous lakes, known as “tail” in Nepali, offer fishing and boating. Mountain views are splendid here, especially when the still waters reflect the peaks, creating a double range. The water is warm and swimming is pleasant. Lakeside has its own charm, especially in the evening, when the shops are lit up like Christmas trees. The view of the Himalayas from Pokhara provides one of the world’s most awe-inspiring scenes. Nowhere else on earth can you get so close (25 miles) to so many peaks that exceed 22,000 feet while relaxing in a subtropical valley.
The mountain are:
Dhaulagiri (26,795 ft; 8,167m)
Annapurna I (26,545 ft; 8,091m)
Machhapuchhare (22,956 ft; 6,997m)
